A beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver footed sugar bowl with marks for London, 1890, George Aldwinckle. This mark was used from 1889 to 1898.
Marvellously worked with profuse repousse work; in particular the tripod feet are each worked with a Green Man’s face and scalloped foot. The cartouche is blank.
Price marked at $1750 AUD.
Measurements: 13 cm diameter, 5cm height. 204 grams.
