Antique Japanese late Meiji to Taisho Period Satsuma bird brooch

A gorgeous Japanese late Meiji to Taisho Period Satsuma brooch circa late 19th to early 20th century. Antique pin with C clasp, possibly a conversion of the period from a clasp to brooch. Beautifully handpainted details including cobalt blue border, gilt details and floral and bird motifs.
