An unusual and beautiful antique Japanese 10ct gold export Ivory brooch, circa 1900s to 1920s, set in unmarked 10ct gold mount, XRF tested as 10ct gold.

Beautifully carved with stylised depiction of marine life, including 5 fish, a prawn, a centre crab motif and rose-shaped anemones.

Price marked at $1250 AUD.

Measurements: 4.5 by 4cm, total weight 10.8grams.

One eye of prawn worn, one eye of one fish worn. Otherwise good antique condition, with light wear overall commensurate with age.
