Antique George V ebony and sterling silver conductor’s baton

Antique George V ebony and sterling silver conductor’s baton with marks for London, 1920, FD. Little is known about this maker save that they made several elegant conductor’s batons during the 1920s. Elegantly made with repousse sterling silver tip, plaque and handle. Inscription to plaque “Presented to Wm Downs For Services Rendered// Bromley Presbyterian Church // Jan 8th 1923”.
