Antique Edwardian sterling silver napkin ring retailed by J.C. Vickery

Antique Edwardian sterling silver napkin ring with marks for Marston & Bayliss, Birmingham, 1906, and retailer’s mark by J.C. Vickery, a prestigious gold and silver smith retailer which held numerous Royal Warrants including Edward VII and various crowded heads of Europe. Marston and Bayliss used this mark from 1900 to 1907, and their premises were on Icknield St, Birmingham at this time; this was their final year of partnership.

Engraved with original owner’s intials “MFG” in script of the period.

Price marked at $250 AUD.

Measurements: 4cm height, 31.5grams total weight.

Excellent antique condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age.
