A lovely set of antique Anglo Indian Raj period Kutch silver jug and bowl. Beautifully hand-wrought with the intricate repousse scrollwork that is a signature of Kutch silver, both hand-raised and with the exquisite figural cobra handle on the jug ibeing the finishing touch.
Tests as silver between .800 to .900 silver purity.
Price marked at $1600 AUD the pair.
Measurements: 243.6 grams total weight. Jug measurements: 16cm across from handle to spout, 6cm high. Bowl measurements: 11cm diameter at widest point, 4.5cm height.
Excellent antique condition with minor wear overall commensurate with age.
