This lovely quality pair of mid-century Limoges vases will make a perfect statement pair for anyone wishing to adorn their home. Since the 18th century, the prefecture of Limoges has been renowned for the quality of its porcelain. These particular ones have hallmarks establishing them to be sometime in the mid 20th century. They are hand painted with burgundy and gilt accents, as well as floral motifs around the vase and along the fluted details on the base. These Limoges pieces are well priced considering their size and condition, at $440AUD for the pair. Measurements: Vase opening outer diameter of 16.5 cm, inner diameter of 13 cm. Just under 24 cm high, and a base diameter of 11 cm. Condition: excellent vintage condition, with very faint wear to rim and base as pictured.
