Midcentury modern Scandinavian Swedish sterling silver spoon by C.G. Hallbergs GAB

A fine example of midcentury modern Scandinavian silver, this Swedish sterling silver spoon by C.G. Hallbergs GAB was made in 1969. Founded in 1860 by C. G. Hallberg, a prominent Swedish goldsmith who was jeweller to the Swedish court, and the firm remains active today under the name Hallbergs Gold.

Hallbergs silverware remains highly collectible, and this is a fine example of their work, elegantly crafted with the word Sverige (silver) incised on the stem.
