Antique English late Georgian sterling silver and leather snuff box circa 18th century with handled edges as well as monogrammed cartouche to the front. Silver plaque to the top as well as around the sides, with the Initials of TC within cartouche. Silversmiths were not required to have their personal items assayed, and from the fine quality of this piece, this was made by a silversmith for themselves or their loved ones. A charming and meaningful piece.
