Vintage Art Deco sterling silver, enamel and marcasite figural Bird Brooch

A very charming vintage Art Deco sterling silver, enamel and marcasite figural bird brooch. The bird is perched on a tree branch, all the better to display its gorgeous marcasite studded crest and plumage. Some light wear to the enamel of the leaves but overall beautifully done. All stones are intact and with other jewellers such as Schiaparelli making a comeback, this would be a great statement piece to be pinned on a scarf, blazer, top or hat. The blue bird enamel versions of these brooches are often seen but this is a rare and lovely piece.
