The beautiful blue glaze and delicate patina, speaks to this piece being nearly a 1000 years old. This dish has an elegant simplicity characteristic of Song Qingbai Ware, and features delicate blue-white glaze, a biscuit coloured body which can be seen to the top rim of the dish, as well as in areas of the base where the glaze did not reach during firing and a distinctive unglazed ring within the dish as is typical of Song dynasty pieces.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIn our opinion we have classified this as Qingbai, however there is some visual overlap with celadon of that period.
